    Hello Growtopians,

    As some of you already know, the servers are currently undergoing maintenance. 3 hours ago we experienced a server crash and somehow some world were completely reset when the game came back live automatically. Upon initial investigation, we decided to put the game into maintenance mode to investigate this issue and mitigate long-lasting issues to the game progress. We know that many of you are discussing a potential rollback but at this point it is still too early to tell.

    While we are still exploring several options how to restore these worlds and how to compensate players as well, we would like to say that we are very sorry for this inconvenience, we know that PAW is a very special time, we'll make sure to give our best to make the game available again as soon as possible.

    [Update I] Lost Worlds

    Hello Growtopians,

    We would like to give you another update about the situation that we’re currently facing. The Developers have been working in the past few hours relentlessly in order to find the issue that was causing worlds to be reset. Finally, we found out what happened, and we are currently resolving the issue on a technical level. This is not an easy fix, and it will take a while, especially in order to restore the worlds lost.

    There are many open questions, some we can answer already. No true rollback – however, we will restore all worlds back to a state before the server crash, but there will be some progress lost. Please note, this will not be a 24-hour rollback, we will just restore the worlds to a slightly earlier point in time, roughly 1 hour before the crash. This will create an issue where items placed in any world during this timeframe will be lost. In these case the Customer Support Team will help you out! As this is not a full rollback, all other progress will be kept.

    At this point in time we do not plan to delay PAW Day 7 in any way, nor to extend PAW. Good news, the PAW Sale (20% off on secondary store items and packs, plus an additional 5% off on all Growtoken items) will be extended and run until the end of PAW.

    We will keep you posted on the progress and would like to thank you for your patience.

      [Update II] Lost Worlds

      Hello Growtopians,

      The servers are back live again. Please note that in some cases an item might have been duplicated or is missing if you interacted with it in any world between 6:00 AM GT to start of the maintenance, which is roughly an hour. In these cases please contact the Customer Support Team as they will handle your case. Please be advised however, false claims may lead to your account being suspended.

      Just as a reminder, PAW Sale (20% off on secondary store items and packs, plus an additional 5% off on all Growtoken items) was extended and will run until the end of PAW.

      We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your ongoing patience. We’re incredibly sorry that this happened, especially during PAW, but we promise that we’ll do our best to help you with any issues that were caused by this incident.
