  • Move the items!

Sorry, but I won't let this topic down. Many people will lose a lot of stuff. I understand console version doesn't profit that much, but it's unfair for all the console players to shutdown the servers and lose all the stuff.

What you, developers, need to do, is move all the console version stuff to PC & Mobile version except for the console-only items which will be compensated in gems + you're going to get a plaque block for being a previous Growtopia console version player (Untradeable). For the stuff bought with real life money, that ALL should be given back! This is nearly a scam, dear anti-scammers.

I understand it will be terribly hard, but be fair. If you cannot compensate scams that you can easily track in the log, then at least compensate and be respectful to the hard work of the console players.

I hope you understand everything I wanted to say.

    Stay alert, not anxious!

This will not happen. Moving all items from console to PC/Mobile is incredibly difficult and would require a lot of work. I think they should give the players from console a special plaque but also make it tradeable. Stuff bought with real money will not be refunded. They would never do that as you are not entitled to have your money back.

It's not Ubis fault that the game wasn’t bring in enough players for console and correct me if I'm wrong, but console edition has a different IOTM schedule so it’ll be unfair for the people who’ve payed for an IOTM, knowing it won't ever come back to the game on PC servers and then a flood of Console IOTMs appear but I like the idea of the untradeable block as it’d act as a souvenir.

They should give players something but everything is silly. Things like challenge items are way easier to get on console

There was enough players, but not enough players bought stuff for real money. That's why they are closing it.

You have to understand that the console servers are totally different from the PC and mobile servers, transferring items will result in conflict since the accounts, worlds and overall data are completely different in both servers and so it'll be practically impossible to link anything in between the two completely parallel game servers.

Anyways it is truly sad to see the console version go, but the team has allready had their hours of heavy discussion on whether to go through with it or not, and eventually decided to go with it.

I know it's sad, and some may consider it unfair. But the decision is final and the best that we can do is to bid our fellow console players farewell and best of luck with their everyday lives.

To all console players reading this don't worry, I'm sure Growtopia will always remain as a chapter in your lives and your more than welcome to stay with us in the forums and quite possibly even join us PC and mobile players in our servers, we are always looking forward to making more friends.

Don't be sad that soon you will no longer be able to enjoy Growtopia on your consoles, instead be proud that you were one of the few who was able to take part in this amazing journey and initiative to bring Growtopia to the consoles, as no one else would ever get such a chance ever again!.

Actually ubidev sponsored growtopia on console very poorly they only advertised on social media and their youtube chanel instead of sponsoring on commercials and ads on diffrent yt c hannels we know they have the money to do it ubisoft is a big company maybe if they do bring growtopia for console they adverise it better

I don't think that could be real, since Growtopia is a worldwide game. But still, they could get sued, because they are basically taking away money.
