[GUIDE] Spending your gems wisely!

I've seen a lot of threads about "How do I spend my gems" or "What should I do with my gems". So I've compiled up all the ways I know that would be somewhat profitable.

1. Crime Packs

Although crime packs may be low on price right now, but it will rise on updates, such as carnival, cinco de mayo and some others. Why does it sell for more? Carnival, players need the cards to fight villains as part of their ring quests. So selling the cards during carnival would earn you much more world locks if you set the price below the average. As for cinco de mayo, the villain that was released in 2015, El Peligro, has drops that usually consists of Luchador Masks, Jerseys, Tights, Boots and its Championship Belt. All these items have a significantly reasonable price during cinco de mayo where players could make profit off fighting these villains.

2. Small Seed Packs

Although it takes an extremely long time to finish, in the end it's all worth it. If you want to speed up the process, suggestion is that you get the max amount of backpack slots possible, which is 196 I believe. The price of small seed packs varies from 1,000 packs per 75-90 world locks, depending on the buyer/seller. It is much more profitable but it takes up quite a lot of your time. If you do not have that much backpack slots, I suggest this is not the step you want to take.

3. Rare Seed Packs

Similar to small seed packs, rare seed packs also have common interest towards vend shop owners but rare seed packs have lower value compared to small seed packs. If you were told to plant the seeds, harvest them and sell the blocks to the buyer, the amount of gems you get from the trees would also benefit you a bunch.

4. Fishing Packs

Consists of a Fishing Rod, 5 Wiggly Worms, a Tackle Box and a Fish Tank Port. Costs 10,000 gems but the price of the tackle box pretty much covers it up. Costing 5-6 world locks, if you buy more than 1 at a time, let's say for example you buy 2 packs. You could sell the fish tank ports at 2 per world lock, and sell the tackle boxes at its average price, you should earn around 12-15 world locks from selling all the items.

5. Surgical Packs

Costs 12,000 gems and the price converted to world locks is around 7-8 world locks, would be the most profitable due to the new update. What you could do is sell the stitches and keep the rest. Stitches are currently going for 2-3 per world lock, so you should earn around 2-3 world locks just off the stitches. As for the rest of the tools, save them up until you have enough for a world lock's worth. You could also sell the heart monitors at a price of 1-2 per world lock.

6. Investing in future updates

As much as you hate saving the gems because it's so tempting to spend them all at once, it'll all benefit you in the end. Let's say an update came out with a new pack, with you buying the pack to know what the contents of the pack does before others do, would help you with the knowledge of it. As for selling of the pack, you would have to sell it asap since the price of the pack will eventually drop.

7. Basic Splicing Kits

This pack will give you 10 Rock seeds and 10 more random seeds of rarity 2, for only 200 gems! If I'm not wrong, the prices of rock seeds are supposedly 50 per world lock, so it pretty much has equal value to a world lock, just for 1,000 gems, and you get 100 more random seeds of rarity 2! You may think is pack is useless, but it still has its own potential.

8. Silkworms

Silkworms are essentially quite a good pick since it only costs 7,000 gems and has a value or 5 world locks. You could either sell them, or in other cases, if you have the consumables to change the silk it produces, farm up silk to sell them. Personally, I'd prefer selling them since silkworms only live for 20 days, and silk, nowadays aren't much of demand.

9. Monthly Item

They cost around 1 dl or less, when they're just released. So be sure to grab it ASAP when it comes out, if not, after a period of time, the price of that item will eventually drop and would not be worth that 200,000 gems you spent.
