I wasted 8-9 stit for that I was Skill 100 that time, well. Atleast it's for the quest.

Also, massive trauma is simple to fix. For me

I wouldn't suggest trying it before reaching at least skill level 50. Use tea, it will help a lot.

You can complete it with only 4 stitches, if it's the regular one. If the patient also has tough skin then it takes 5. You'll need to use Anesthetic, Scalpel and then Stitches. If the patient has an incision and you use a stitch it will completely stop all the bleeding, saving you 2 stitches. It's very risky to try it like that, because even 1 skill fail or a heart stop will ruin it. Safer way is to use 5 stitches, first 1 Stitch to stop bleeding fast, Anesthetic, Scalpel and a Stitch again to stop bleeding.

I'd avoid doing surgeries that require more than 3 stitches until you hit skill 75, that's what I did and got the massive trauma at 60 something. There's also tea which is helpful. There's other surg tips but that's for the people who do 100s of surgs per month :3
Give a man a wl, and he will learn to rely on you.
Teach a man to make wls and you'll set him up for success.

It's pretty easy, heres what you do:

Make sure the patient isn't losing blood, so stitch until patient isn't losing blood.
Lab kit, antibiotics until 98.6 temperature
                Splint the broken bones.
                Use ultrasound
Anesthetic, and make sure the patient is unconscious at all times.
Use splint until 0 shattered bones
antiseptic, so less sponge comes up.
                scalpel until fix it
                stitch up incisions
                fix it

you have done a massive trauma surgery

no it isnt, you just need to be a smart player, have tea or skill spice, and enough tools.
