Probably the best thing to get gems in 2019 is by doing BFGs but you can also do the usual way farming..

I prefer use your own seed.
200 pepper ≈ 550 gems + bonus seed + 270 gems (when harvest)
^ i forget how is it exactly but it will not far than that

200 bfg lgrid ≈ 900 gems

I agree that lgrid bfg make you get fast gems, but i believe that pepper will make you richer

^those is based on my opinion.

And also i break my own farmable in slide farm so its easier xd.

Edit: pepper now is 80/1, so maybe its not worth it but idk. I didnt do a math, still prefer slide farm .
