You'll have to treat the malady, but remember: Maladies are rare. It's not likely you'll encounter one without realizing it. The Med-A-Check can help you avoid treating a malady if you're really worried about it, though!

Old surgeries remain unchanged with the exception of the UI that has been shuffled to hopefully be a little more user friendly.
