    A fact

This game is being less and less popular, there's always an end to everything. My journey started in early 2013, it ended nearly 1,5 years ago. The game is getting boring as the old generation of players are slowly (not really) fading away and leaving their places to the toxic community thats gonna be the end of this game. Ubisoft invested in this game 2 years ago and have sustained a quite a bit of income, but the income is getting lesser and lesser the day goes on. It's not your fault, its not my fault, its not ubisofts fault, its not the communities fault, its noones fault... But as K.S said,
"There's always a beginning and an end to everything, and the spaces in between is where we'll start falling in love."

Once there is not enough income to sustain this project, ubisoft will eventually have to shut it down, just like club penguin got shut down... Club penguin was making A LOT of money and yet again disney kept it up for more than 10 years and eventually shut it down. Same will be for growtopia, nothing ever lasts forever...

But growtopia is pretty hard game, if anyone don't help you start it. Like you can't really learn how to splice tons of items, Or you can't learn tons of features without your friend if you just start today. How to fix this problem?

1- Current newbie tutorial(growpedia things) is more like bot account blocker. You can expect newbies to do these things (especially door id thing). Just make a tutorial that force you to click door then change the id, force the player to click the seeds to place it in one space then splice it, that's all. I want to hate say this but just check Pixel Worlds tutorial...

2- Recipe book, It's suggested many times also as i remember nekorei or one of the developers say something good about it. It was almost a year ago. Make a recipe book for new players!
truly true, it is hard for them to play the game as they have to harvest and farm even when they do not know what these things are used for, the tutorials don't also help. They would have to figure out everything themselves.

Honestly, there's too many annoyances in gt for any new player to start/continue playing:
        - Massive inflation
        - Massive monopolizations
        + becoming richer feels unrewarding
+ items like magplants and rayman make the game seem unfair
        - Ghosts
        - Spam bots
        - Inventory space & organization
+ Items in the inventory are randmly sorted
        + tons of trash
        + dropping itemstakes ages
        + inventory not customizable
        + only 4 hotslots (3 useable)
        - Server stability
        + frequent package loss
+ frequent server dropouts (just check your twitter, geez)
        - Spam detection
        - Graphics in comparison with competition
        - Toxic & Greedy community
+ New players are very gullible and will frequently be targeted once they have a little bit of wealth
        - The game is filled to the brim with distracting trash items
        - Most activities are:
        + grindy
        + unstable
        + expensive
        + dependent on lag
        + dependent on luck
        + unrewarding
        + shallow
        + filled with expertised competition

But I also wouldn't be surprised if a large portion of the missing playerbase could be accounted to the large amount of banned bots.

          I couldn't agree more.

Hey guys player here. I think the game is dying because when I’m online there’s not a lot of people. Like 6,000 people? PFFF if the game was alive it would be 70,000 constantly like that one time. And man people really do hate the game for the people who play it and not for what the game actually is. I quit because I didn’t like the other people who played.

They are also facing scammers and unlike growtopia they actually taken measures by making it so you can't start auctioning an item for more than 5x the amount of it in money. Great idea and should be implemented in GT. Also actively balance change things and put bug fixes above content.

And there are consistant 45k on skyblock. Numbers don't lie. This game have less players than a minigame on a minecraft server.
                      I agree.

But the truth is yearly we are losing 10.000 players. If devs don't do anything about this, probably next year there will be max 20k players.
Max player yesterday was 39k just saying but the second statement is probably gonna be true...

This. Something I like about Runescape is that you can rent items.
                              I'm dumb.

Depending on when you look, the amount of players online varies. You can't base a statement with such poor ****ysis.

To really compare you need a statistical chart with amount logged over time and compare with the past event.
