Items that are not transmutable that should be

Imo making a list of what should be transmutable is pointless since literally nearly all the clothes should be transmutable except for a very few exceptions.

I think the intent is to make a list of what to prioritize into making transmutable by the next transmutabooth update. It's an array of commonly used items but are left out from the first 400.

I think they’re starting of with items by rarity, then they will make items without rarity transmutable, probably rings, legend items, dragons and boards

I mean you'd think its just sprite swapping but they need to worry about items like diamond horns and about items that emit particled such as flames or sparkles.

PS: I won't include items that have functionality, such as gauntlet/fire hose/npg, because those are probably a reason they can't be transmutated in the first place

I mean why cant we still use them for the look? Like just use them as 2nd item. I only hate the gauntlet because i cant break with it

A good item to be able to transmute would be the Buddy's block head.

The booth will hold one of the items, and you get the item back when you cancel the transmutation, so it won't be an issue.
