What are some of your speculations of the new teaser?

All I can see are some sort of elf shirts as one of the green diagonal line.

A (probably overly-complicated) ****ysis of the Winterfest Teaser



So it’s that time of the year where Starkos releases a teaser for the upcoming update and I make an overly-complex ****ysis of his monstrosity. Haven’t done one of these in a while as I’ve been a bit busy lately, but I’m hoping to revive this tradition of mine.

I’m aware there’s already a thread up about ****yzing the teaser, but my ****ysis is just too darn long that I figured it’d be best if I start my own thread on it.

The contour of the eyes and its mouth look like they’re made out of some sort of snow block... one seemingly solid that might inflict damage as it’s icy-looking (around the eyes) and one looking like a background block (the mouth).

The stems running lengthwise look like they’re made of some sort of icicle block that can be placed on the ground. The things stemming diagonally from it look like candies of some sort.

The stems running diagonally... hoo boy. Starting for the one which goes from the top left to the bottom right... I have no clue what its stem could possibly be in terms of a future in-game item. Zooming in, the item looks like a blue orb floating on a red-ish base, but other than that I have no clue what to make of it.

The other diagonal looks like it’s made of an elf vest. Perhaps we’ll get a complete elf set this time around! The things stemming from both diagonals look like some sort of distorted cape split in half, and the yellow spikes on the bottom look like they may be flames from some sort of light source.

Finally, the stem running across this... snowflake. I have no clue as to what in tarnation this may be made of, but I’m assuming maybe snowshoes..? The things stemming diagonally from it are obviously Christmas trees cut in half, and the very ends of the horizontal stem have some sort of candy cane decorated with Christmas lights.

Overall impression? I have no clue what to say. This thing’s obviously a monstrosity, so you sure nailed that part of the criteria, Starkos! I’m eager to find out what half the items used in this teaser are... guess I’ll have to wait another week or so to see.

Short ****ysis

I think there are frames, stars, maybe cool blue platforms and could those tree branches with decos refer to new items made from giving tree decos (%)?
