No, that wouldn't happen. So-called pro players would focus on breaking low hit items, like Grass and Glass Pane for faster points. Only ones farming would be the ones who already farm regularly, just switching the item they use to break during Block Bashers.

locked items are not needed for the Block basher event. In addition, it takes a long time for that event to start.
