  • What's the best way to breathe

I know this may sound dumb but what's the best way to breathe?

I feel like I've been having a hard time breathing over the past few months (not like that I have COVID-19 stfu), like my lungs are getting smaller and that I breathe way too fast

something might be blocking the traffic between your nose to your lungs.

in my experience, crying and eating spicy foods clear the traffic, using your mouth is effective indeed, but it is uncomfortable for most people. I do not have any advice, but I feel your struggle as I've been experiencing it for the past few months. You should probably get it checked out just in case.

also, do you smoke? or are you usually near someone who smokes and accidentally inhale the smoke? my friend used to smoke, and his father used to smoke around him, resulting in him inhaling the smoke even heavier and more often. His lung was destroyed, the traffic between his lungs and his nose was severely jammed sadly he passed away last year due to that.

this is the perfect way to breathe:
                  step 1: breathe in
                  step 2: never breathe out
step 3: you live for another 1000 years

nope, definitely no smoke (both first-hand and second-hand) but yes, like you said there's some traffic

i find it hard to breathe like the one where it could possibly treat anxiety like inhale deeply then hold it for a couple of seconds then exhale slowly

Probably caused by anxiety or depression, my friend had the same symptoms and is now taking anti depressants (seemed to work as he is not complaining about it anymore)

Have you tried deep breaths with intervals on how long you will exhale them?
I've tried it before this was taught on our swimming class. Give it a try?
