Yup, just do this. When you get good at it, you can predict when he will use ban hammer and thwart it with lightening. Also an offensive card is necessary to defeat him when he keeps using resuscitate.

Well, I won him twice in a row with Frost Breath, Froaen Mirror, Super Speed, Flame On, Megawatt Pulse. He seems to keep using lightning and fire, so I just use Flame On to earn hp. <3
