My apologies, seems like there's a miscommunication.

I meant, if you use wealth as the basis for friendship, showcasing your wealth as a means to get friends, then the "friends" you get are not friends at all, hence you wanting to get friends with the DL is impossible as you won't get any "friends" that can be considered as true friends with the DL, rather, use your own wits and interests to get actual friends.
