Might sound a little weird/scummy, but personally I don't profit much by "Hard work". I currently own a BFG but its off season and no one wants to BFG. So I mostly get my wls from friends who are like, super super rich. Not that I ask them for stuff, but we known each other for many years and they are a lot more successful than me, so out of kindness they give me wls/dls I guess? Again, might sound scummy but I'm not forcing at all, and mostly rejecting offers.

Ghost Hunting. I'm not that into it so I only make what... 50-90 wls a day. Considerably low compared to other ghost hunters, but I just got into it. Trading expensive items is the best profit method if you have lots of time like 10+ hours each day. You can easily make 100+ dls per month. Second best method is investing, but it's extremely slow and sometimes requires luck. I guess my advice for you is to just play the game often and look for opportunities, be smart.
