That's why I'm hoping other forumers will give the link to this thread to people they see struggling in game. Also, as I said in the disclaimer located at the bottom, this isn't meant for experienced players and I'm sure you won't learn anything new from here.

Small tip to anyone on their laptops/pc: CTRL/Command + F, and you can search for the word automatically. Boom. Like for example, you don't know what a toxic roulette game is. CTRL+F and type in "toxic roulette", it'll bring you to the part of the OP where it states something about toxic roulette.

Just a 'lil bump I guess.

'NFS' isn't something used just in Growtopia so might as well add in "WTB" and "WTS" for 'Want to buy/sell' if you're looking for trading words in general

No, sometimes mini games are real prizes.

All words are now categorized alphabetically! (Note, that they're not alphabetically order inside each letter's category. E.g, all words starting with the letter 'a' are all under the 'A' category, but not alphabetically ordered in that specific category. Hope that makes sense. I'll change this once I have more time.)

Also added new words and updated some of the outdated ones.

For example: the theme of this round is Summerfest. The goal is to dress as "summer-y" as possible. M

Minigame World. A world, with lots of seperate small games in it, with prizes at the end. Sadly, such worlds are almost always scams. (The games are impossible to complete). PJ - Punch Jammer. An item, that blocks people from punching eachother in your world.

Consequentially, any work which players put in during the timeframe which was rolled back is lost.

In compensation for lost work and time, rollbacks are often accompanied with an Apology Weekend, a weekend-long event in which in-app purchase values are increased and players have a chance of getting lucky drops from breaking blocks. Any gem purchases made within the timeframe which gets rolled back are given back to the player at double the value. (Source: The Growtopia Wikia)

The host will start breaking the dirt, one by one or all at once (varies) and your job is to not die from the lava. Some spleef arenas have extra lava around the box or some death spikes, it varies. Most of the spleef arenas are not punch jammed, so you can punch other people to their doom. The last survivor wins.

Sig/Siggy - Signature. Only used on the forums, but since you're already here...

Slenderman. (A game.) There will be one / a few slendermen, your job is to run in the maze made solely for this game and make sure that the slender men don't see you. If they see you, you'll be kicked out of the game. The last one to be kicked / the last survivor wins.

The toxic waste barrel will be broken and what you need to do is to make sure you don't die from the waste of the toxic barrel. This game is solely based on luck. The last survivor wins.

Tip: use CTRL+F on PC to find the word you're looking for; for mobile users, click the three dots at the top right corner and press 'search in page'!

There are a million more phrases and abbreviations out there that I forgot, so please reply with ones I should add here. Thanks!

Disclaimer: this tiny guide is dedicated to newer players; an experienced player will probably get nothing out of this. Some phrases are also quite self-explanatory, but still added.
This has also probably been made before (though I haven't seen one myself), so excuse me for that. I'll try to keep this one updated, though.

Please note, that this list doesn't have and it never will have all the words, abbreviations and phrases used in Growtopia. What it does have, is the basics and most commonly used words. This list is ever-growing and will never be complete! Help and suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Please direct your newer GT friends to this thread after they've been playing for a few weeks (no point to overwhelm them with this on their first day). That's the purpose of this thread afterall - to help newer players and make it more easy for them to understand what's going on in this crazy game.
    H ROBS - Harvest Robinsons.

Nice list by the way. This should be "stickied".
