Hello Growtopians,

Thanks for using the Advanced Account Protection (AAP) feature to secure your accounts.

We browsed through some threads and found out that, unfortunately, some of you are experiencing a variety of issues while trying to enable AAP. We decided to make this post in order to answer most of your questions and provide you with detailed instructions on what to do before opting-in for Advanced Account Protection.

  • Check if you have verified the email address. Search through your inbox “Growtopia” and see if you have verified your email.
  • Check if that is the correct email address. Go here, put your registered email address and see if you have received the email at the correct email address.
  • If you have lost access to your email or you believe you have mistyped it (gemail.com rather than gmail.com), please check out our FAQ here.
  • Check if your mailbox is full. Make sure you have enough space to receive an email from us! Delete email that you don’t need.
  • Check your Spam/Junk email folder. Sometimes, our emails may end up there.
  • Whitelist no-reply@mail.growtopiagame.com in your email. This will make sure that an email from us won’t end up in your Spam/Junk email folder.
  • Keep in mind we have noticed that hotmail.com users are experiencing some delays. That is not caused by Growtopia, but it is an issue on Hotmail's side.

Feel free to reply to this thread with an issue you might have experienced and we will get back to you as soon as possible, but please make sure that you have followed all the steps above. Additionally, feel more than free to share your tips & advice on what you have done and found the email from us.
