I'm not singling out player, just example.
The game has a market place system.
The players control the price by demand.
It's worked for years and it will for more to come.

So, I'm asking for you guys' help Because i only have like a few dls. Is there ANY item I could lazy mass, Or buy low, sell high?
Some people start this game and in the first year they just get 50+ dls. Is it purely based on luck?

Please, Let me know, Because I Recently lost almost ALL of my Diamond Locks. I only got a few left.
They buy dls and then they invest it thats my opinion lol
Now days they buy mag and they used bot to break so he/she can relax and enjoy free gems and lock

tbh, I dont think luck plays a huge role (atleast for me). Ive came back to this game since like 5 months, and by starting with a dl ( kept it from before) ive been able to gain close to around 200 dls rn(without including breaking 2 caged ldrags RIP). I dont farm, i dont mass. I just trade now and then, sometimes ill buy items that I think would rise, for example the tragicomic mask, I bought 15 masks for 120-180 each, just to sell them 370-400 after 2 weeks. Luck may give you some decent profit, but its mostly thinking of a good way that isnt used by everyone. Don't waste alot of time trading though, there's more to growtopia than gaining wls.

Luck played a big factor when I earned almost 500 dls. Trust me, this game isn’t even worth playing anymore. It’s mostly the same events without any significant new content. You’re better off looking for a more productive way to spend your time.

Don't put pressure on yourself buddy. Just enjoy the game.
I coulda made ez dls from massing climbing boots long ago, but then I decided to sell them for 2/wl when their price is still 4 wls each. Well, I do it for my own satisfaction because many vend world owners pm-ing me angrily because i dropped the price of it.

But if by having 100+ dls is making you happy then go for it mate.

The best and most fun time playing growtopia was when i was a noob with under 1dl. Growtopia was all about friends and parkours back then, Now it's all about Dls, scams, and making fun of people less rich than yourself.

So, that's why i'm looking for some advice from pros on these forums, But i don't think it will help me so much. My dream item has ALWAYS been Golden Angel Wings, But i've never succeeded in it, or gotten anywhere close to even 50 dls. And it's sad that some people just come into this game and play for a year and just get their 100 dls almost without any effort.

I play this game 3 hours/day approximately if i divide my Hours played and my days played together. 6 years, 3 hours, 1 Zeus.

I really need any advice i can get.

Luck comes into a big factor into this, but a good portion of most people's wealth comes from illegal activities (e.g. hacking, IAP fraud, scamming, using spammers, abuse, casino, etc.)

right now the easiest way to get rich is by buying cheap buy+ world and selling it for more, it might be risky
for an example my friend bought buysuns for 10dls, and he got offered 40+ dls

I barely get 1 dl a week by farming.
If you actually played for 6 goddamn years, it should have hit you, atleast into your 2nd year playing, that its ez profit if you invest in clover during st pats. If you done that for like 4 years consecutive, and wait till they rise to 25 each, considering you have 1dl, u can make atleast 4dl a year SIMPLY FROM ST PATS. Farming gives wayy more. B4 mags came out, old school farming ftanks give like 40-50k gems. Dont give laziness as an excuse. Yes, being luck plays a really minor role. It's more about hardwork, and understanding the economy

If you could not figure it out in "6 years", do not expect to figure it out in a day.

If i were to farm Fishtanks (1 FULL farm) A day, I would get about 23-30k gems. And I have taken time from this like 3 times. Each time Non-stop, and It has taken me around 4 hours.

And 4 hours, 25k gems is a REALLY BAD amount. So if i would spend 4 days doing this i would only get 100k gems. And it's pointless how little that makes profit.
I need a few ways to earn back some dls. Currently, I am farming 1,5 full farms of HTB Every 3 days. When i farm 1 full farm of htb it gives me around 55-60k gems. And i usually farm them in like 6 hours time. So far, I have farmed them 2 times.

I need advice, How many times should i continue farming them, And after farming them how should i Invest My wls?

And meanwhile when the HTBS are growing, I am farming Ladders and steel to make 1000 fire escapes. I started off with 400 ladder blocks and 500 steel blocks, Now i have 350 ladder seeds and 400 steel blocks.

Becoming wealthy in GT isn't all about investments. It's about being an opportunist. Rather than just focus on investments, maybe take a look at the other aspects of GT, eg. forming relations with other players. Collaborating with other people on projects. Starting a new idea for new events.
Some of those might yield profits in the long run. Personally I got to know a player, and gradually became his supplier for a period of time til I had to take a break from GT. Made a lot of WLs then. I also got involved in developing farm management systems, as well as BFG (Before Magplants got introduced).
It wasn't just business though, the players I worked with and I did discuss about personal stuff and rant quite a bit about the issues GT was facing then. I didn't invest by "BuyingLow/SellingHigh" but rather I invested in the community per se.

I'm unable to come up with a set of concrete guidelines for you to follow to become rich, but what I can give are examples of players being opportunistic.

    • Selling links/SB earned quite a fair bit last time. Players were quick in obtaining worlds with rare names and it helped.

    • Breaking for gems was one of them. It was a pretty new concept then, before Magplants were introduced. The whole system got pretty popular, and obviously the first few players to collaborate and introduce this idea earned quite a bit before it caught on.

    • Being pack suppliers/sourcing for SSP suppliers. This was what I did.

    • The good old buy-low-sell-high method. This is one of the more exciting ones IMO, especially if it's a high stake investment. Quite a bit like gambling, really. Of course, I hardly need to state that you should be extremely familiar with the pricing system. Only tip I can give in this area is: Don't be greedy. When the price of the item invested in has reached a satisfactory level, cut it loose and resell it. More often than not, refusing to sell the item in the hopes of having the price rise even higher will cause a drop. And since you aren't the only one doing that, you're gonna have 30+ players in a world competing to sell the item at the lowest price. I learnt my lesson the hard way.

    • Taking advantage of events, GT seasons. Put some effort into reading up on the GT events, as well as the popular items players tend to buy, to splice event items etc etc. Pre-planning will do you plenty of good.

There's plenty more examples but I can't exactly list them off hand.

TLDR; Becoming wealthy is about being an opportunist. Don't get tunnel vision and only focus on 1 aspect of it. Play the GT community/game mechanics to your advantage.
