    Default Growscan

So today is Notc, dust spawning everywhere in my bfg world.
I tried using growscan to locate those dust, and I found something.
Apparently, growscan can't detect event spawned items, just like magplant.
    Take a look at this:
On the left, an event spanwed dust. On the right, a manually dropped dust by me

Is this a glicth or it is meant to be so

Interesting, does it do the same with newly broken fossils?

But at the same time I would like to think that this is a bug because it would helpful to have to ability of locating comet dust around a world with many people.
No, Growscan can only scan the world and get the exact amount of floating items, blocks, gems .etc

    Not a intended bug.
Since the comet dusts are produced through spawns, it can't be registered into the GrowScam.

    Just a hypothesis.

I think it same goes with Winter Gift spawns.

    Hello

I can confirm what most of you have already mentioned: The GrowScan does not record/display information about event-spawned items. It only displays items that have been dropped from player actions such as breaking blocks or trees, dropping items in the world, etc.

    Hope that helps.
