    Exclamation Having some problems about this new update

    I'm sorry to have some questions about this update for the admins in this forum, but I need to understand what's wrong about this new update. I'm also thinking that this title is suitable to be posted in this section or not. As you can see on the title, my computer has some problems about this new update that I cannot enter the game with my current computer. However, this isn't the problem about my account or my device that I'm using, because I can enter the game by using my phone with the same account, but this is not possible for my current computer. The current computer that I'm using now shows my account stuck at the updating section which is "Updating items...(1/7)", and it does not continue to move on to "Updating items...(2/7)" and more. I had done many things that may make this situation disappear, such as restart the computer, reinstall the game and use another account to log in, it still won't work. When I click on the page where it is showing "Updating items...(1/7) , the whole page turns white and it also shows "Not Responding", and the only way I can do is just close the game. So, I think this is not my computer's problem, and the previous updates do not cause any problem to my current computer, but this new update which is Version 2.991 causes this problem to my computer. I hope that the admins will consider about this problem and have a check on this new update, and my computer's edition is Windows 10 Pro. Thank You.

    Try this solution..

    Program Conflicts

    • Running multiple programs on your computer at the same time takes up a lot of resources and can cause issues with game performance and possibly make the game crash or freeze. There may be conflicts with other programs. Try closing other programs or running a clean boot on your computer to stop any conflicting programs.


    Corrupted Game Files Because of Antivirus

    • If you are experiencing crashing/ lag/stuck on update/loading, you may have one or more corrupted or outdated game files that are conflicting with the game. It can occur because antivirus automatically removes the game files. Try turn-off your antivirus, and reinstall growtopia again. (Alternative : run growtopiainstaller.exe with run as administrator).


    Didn't work? Try another solution.

    I had waited for about 2 hours and even more by leaving it there without a single click, and it did nothing.

    Sorry, man. This doesn't even related to my Windows. The previous versions are success for me to log in my account into the game although I had not activated Windows.

    Thank You, KamuiVY. Your solutions may be useful to the others, but sadly, it does nothing to my current situation.

    First solution - I had closed all my other programmes when I'm waiting for the update to finish about 1 or 2 hours, but it still doesn't work.

    Second solution - I had deleted all the previous game files about Growtopia, and it doesn't work, but I will try to turn-off my antivirus.Thank you.


    I had tested to logging in when the anti-virus has closed , but it still doesn't work on this condition.

    UBIDEV had just done a few changes, and I'm so glad that I could play Growtopia later. But, I had tested the game, and the update has moved forward one path which means I'm staying in the situation of "Updating items (1/6)". However, this situation is worsen. When the line comes up to the "Updating items (1/6)", it automatically shows "(Not Responding)" compared to the previous unchange that it won't shows "(Not Responding)" before I clicked it. This situation appears when I wait for about 5 seconds. I had used other account for logging in, but it's still the same.

    Although these pictures are looking the same, but it really doesn't work. And it won't continue to "Updating items...(2/6), it just stuck at there.

    Seems to be moved somewhere. But copy and paste this ( C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Growtopia ) to files and delete the cache.

    Playing Growtopia with an alternative solution is using the platform (just for emergency, while waiting side support to fix it)

    Follow this step :
    • Install Android Emulator on Computer (Bluestack, Nox, Memu, etc.) > go to playstore > search growtopia > install > update in-game > play > have fun



    Just this I can help.. to fix your problem.

    If you want to play, you can try it. But if you didn't want to try it, you can waiting support to fix it.

    I had checked all my folders and it doesn't have a single folder which is named GrowtopiaI don't know why

    It's ok, I can play Growtopia on my phone.
    I'm just thinking that playing Growtopia on PC should be better on phone.

    I had downloaded Bluestacks on my computer at December 2018, but I think that it is a bad emulator because it cannot function properly on my computer, and I won't use it even if I have no choice
