You could try massing just wasting a couple of world locks you could profit by doing that way or farming like many have suggested

Farming is a good way to profit, especially if you will invest a lot of World Locks on your farmables.
I recommend you to farm Pepper Tress.
Pepper Tree Seed grows for 1 day, which is really good for a farmable.
Pepper Tree takes 3 hits to break.
Pepper Tress give you a lot of gems after you break/harvest them. (3-10)
