Default [GUIDE] Installing Growtopia on Ubuntu

I know it sucks not having an official Growtopia application for Ubuntu, but what can we do?
No. We're not going to wait for ubisoft to create one. Instead, we'll run the .exe file on our Ubuntu!

But Data...(.exe) files can't run on Ubuntu!
Let's get drunk together, and go on a wonderful ride with Wine...

Okay, it ran, but will it be as smooth as running it on Windows?
It's going to be way smoother! My 16 GB RAM Windows can't achieve the same smoothness the 2 GB Ubuntu does!

    What is Wine?
Wine is not a Windows emulator, rather, it allows you to run your Windows programs on your Ubuntu PC!

Stop with that intro! Just jump right into the tutorial!
    Let's go, my drunk friends!
First off, we'll need to actually download and install Wine!

    Warning
That's going to be a long tutorial.

    Downloading & Installing Wine
    Step 1 – Setup PPA
    Open your terminal.
If you are running with 64-bit system, enable the 32-bit architecture. Also, install the key which was used to sign packages of wine.
    Respectively run those two commands.
    Code:
    sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386
    wget -qO - https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/winehq.key | sudo apt-key add -
Use one of the following commands to enable Wine apt repository in your system based on your operating system and version.
    Ubuntu 19.04

    Ubuntu 18.04

    Ubuntu 16.04

Step 2 – Install Wine on Ubuntu
Use the commands below to install Wine packages from the apt repository. The –install-recommends option will install all the recommended packages by winehq stable versions on your Ubuntu system.
    Code:
    sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get install --install-recommends winehq-stable
If you face unmet dependencies error during installation, use the following commands to install winehq using aptitude.

Step 3 – Check Wine Version
Use the following command to check the version of wine installed on your system, hence confirm it has been successfully installed.
    Code:
    wine --version
    Example output: wine-4.0.1

    Downloading & Installing Growtopia
Now that we have Wine installed, let's proceed to installing Growtopia!

    Step 1 – Downloading Growtopia
Click here to get it. We're downloading the Windows version for reference.

    Step 2 – Installing Growtopia
    Let the fun begin!
Find the Growtopia .exe installer in your downloads folder

Right click the file, and hit "Open with Wine Windows Program Loader"
The Windows installer should now appear. (Wine might ask you to download other dependencies. Click on Yes everytime it asks you for one)

Once done, a Growtopia Icon should appear on your desktop. Double click it to open Growtopia (if it asks if the app is trusted, hit Trust and Run).

Upon opening, you might see this error.

    Pros of using this method:

    Ubisoft can't track you!
    Why?
Just look at "Ubiservices ID" in the image! It's "0"!
