Oh my gosh, this chat update is something we needed SOOO much. Finally, we wont have to delete our entire message to edit it, AND now we'll have longer messages, rip colors but its worth the sacrifice. My only concern is how spammers will abuse this for bigger spams :/

Coolio! Can't wait to see the outcome, however, I do wish to expect some points:

- Please use colors that's easy to see, I'd prefer light and bright (BUT NOT TOO BRIGHT) colors if you may... The pink seems a little too bright if you're planning to use that. I'd suggest yellow (`9), light blue (`3), orange (`6), purple (`#).
- Please don't forget to update megaphones' window as well - space is very much limited...
- I suggest the buttons to be on the side of the chat box so there will be more view space...
- If you could somewhat add a report button for broadcasts, that would be a great addition to reporting system.

It's a good feature you guys are planning, I will absolutely love to use the chat cursor because it's really needed in the game. Hoping for the best, can't wait!

Awesome! But in addition I'd like to suggest add that same icon bulletin board has to beginning of each broadcast so either moderators can delete broadcasts from chat and/or players will be able to report them.

This seems like an interesting update! I'm curious on how this will turn out, and I'd like to clarify one thing that will be of good use.

Will the channels include messages from the last time we logged on (without clearing cache)? The private to be specific. We don't often see them due to being either afk or in a spammy trade world. I hope the backlog would include these messages and not clear them after we've moved to our current world.

I know this isn't final yet, but hopefully the color coding of certain messages will stay the same (orange for PMs, blue for friendcasts, etc.) to avoid confusion. Overall the thought of sorting out messages is music to my ears. Can't wait!

Yep, I hope chat doesn't get way too colorful like chats in world hopefully won't be in orange but stay white. I didn't like color selection at all to be honest and I think chats in world shouldn't appear like [WORLD] at the beginning of message, it's good current way.

1- Keep old text colours.
2- Shorten info about messages [P] Instead of [PRIVATE]
3- Use in-game pixels to ALL-WORLD-PRIVATE-GAME-CUSTOM buttons.
4- Use (-) instead of [-]. For name and world name.
5- Use < *name* > instead of ( *name*) for the in-world.
6- If we can't use text colours on the broadcast or super broadcast. SB colours should be yellow, and normal broadcast colours should be purple-pink?

NO! The text is ugly, it isn't the original text of growtopia, oh, and I like that idea, but not the text.

I really love these plans! They're modern and more user friendly.

I wish that the cursor will work on mobile devices also, like tablets.

Would it be possible to add player's own memory book as one page? When you go to a world to check recipes, prices or whatever, you need to memorize many things. Or if you are massing something, you could write the whole process down. Or world ideas, plans what to do today in gt etc. If you are playing with computer, it's easier to write notes, take ss and so on. But on mobile devices you get disconnected if you start doing something else in other app.

I also espouse the idea of including guildcast there also.

Hopefully when implemented, they find a way to use the new chat boxes to elimate spammers, not sure how but I have hope in Ubisoft
