    I think hand item & back item (fairy wing, etc) always has a mod

    For double jump no, suppliers and builders cale doesnt have 2x jump or any enhancing jumping effect.

    Yes, that would be cool, but there's a big difference between simple slashing effects and an double jump from a scarf.

    It is against the rules, but who the hell cares? Its a hand item. If it doesn't have a effect, it's completely useless even if it has a good design.

    And slashing effect from a hand item does not=double jump from a SCARF, xp cooking buff etc.

    Its not even anything extravagant. If it was like a new animation and particles from the slash then sure, but it's the same crappy slash that no one likes.

    Pretty sure that a new slashing effect won't totally break the game like how certain combinations and roles make everything downright farmable in the game.

    Plus, the slashing effect is just there for pure cosmetic purposes. It is not like if you can slash three blocks at once like Rayman's Fist, or jump ridiculously high like Riding Bumblebee + Jetpack.

    They have other mods - specially XP % buffs - that make up for this. They aren’t meant to be worn for such effect but rather purely for the benefit of roles.

    As for the OP, this thread is just a beat around a bush that doesn’t need beating. The playmods are simple and were a choice by the developers - it does not affect anyone and will not spiral into madness of unique or arbitrary niche playmods. Most likely at most we will get common playmods (speedy, enhanced digging, double jump, etc.).

    I see no problem with them enhancing the subscription item program (adding mods to the subscription items). They created the rules, of course they can change it whenever they want if they need to. They mentioned before that they will continue enhancing the subscription benefits so that it can be more enjoyed by the community.

    If that's the other way around (should have mods and they removed it), then that's a different story. But hey, they added something useful for the players to enjoy the subscription items. At least be happy about it?

    There's no harm in having an effect (nor a benefit to the subscription sponsor), however, for the sake of consistency it shouldn't have any sort of effect/animation. It was checked with the devs and will be changed shortly.
