Some of you might know about KyoAni, they created/animated maid dragon, clannad, suzumiya haruhi, a silcent voice etc. Today 7/18/19 kyoani studio was attacked by an arsonist, he burned the studio resulting into 33 injuries and sadly 26 passed away. The director(maybe) of maid dragon is missing along with 4 people. The arsonist was found and he accused kyoani of plagiarising that's why he decided to burn it.

Sad news, pray for kyoani and their staffs. Hope they comeback stronger.

This one isn't. It's one of the few anime studios who treat the workers good.

Also making them just die is inhumane. They can like, go to other studios who treats and pays them better, or just make a new studio. Also families.

I haven't watched any of the animations that they have made but I thank them for giving so much joy to people and making an amazing story's hopefully those who died will be in a better place soon and others who were injured recover from it. Also, for the studio, hopefully, it heals itself from this deadly wound. Hopefully, in a given time, they will bring more joy to people once more.

This is absolutely distressing, and it honestly makes me really sad. I grew up watching anime, especially shows like Clannad and Haruhi, and this was just so sudden. It gives me shivers, similar to the passing of Satoru Iwata (Former CEO of Nintendo). My condolences to the 33 who were killed and the best of luck to those who survived.

Yes, his a sick bastard motherfu cker scum that doesn't deserve to live. Murdered people after allegedly accusing them of "plagirism". Anyways, hope the studio get's better soon. Pretty sad seeing many wonderful director passed away.
