    Default How to free your mind off stress?

    I have this issue (not really a big deal)
    I'm studying for mid terms and my mind is bothered by my issue.
    I want to get my mind off it. Got any suggestions?

    Just do what u need to do, don't take any tension. Its a responsibility, if you think you've done all you can do, then theres no point in stressing urself out thinking about it.

    I have done every logical thing I can in order to solve the problem.

    It's ironic how I am asking for help from the people that gave me the problem and they aren't cooperating well with me.

    Hiya

    I've learned a lot about stress relief in my life. My mother is a holistic nutritionist, yoga instructor, and a life coach, so I have some experience in the field, but what I say definitely isn't mandate. :sweat: The most important lesson I've learned is that everybody copes with stress in different ways.

    Keeping a routine is probably the best way to prevent stress, but that doesn't help when you're already stressed.

    I really enjoy going for a walk down a nature trail and listening to the wind in the trees. Meditation really helps as well. It helps me put my mind in check and think about what's causing the stress, then think about a plan of attack. I usually meditate every morning when I do yoga.

    After all, stress is often just caused by some kind of challenge. Y'know what else is a challenge? Beating bosses in video games. Sure, we're living in reality and the challenges we face will alter our future in some way - but isn't that all the more reason to face your challenges with a grin and win! Sometimes a different way of looking at a problem can be the best way to solve it.

    You could also talk to others in your class about it. If there are sections you don't understand, they may be able to help, and vice versa. Not only will this help lower your stress over your midterms, but you may even make some new friends!

    Whenever I feel like everything is falling down on me, I just go completely silent and just want to be away from the rest of the world and away from people. I want to be alone in times of stress. I am surrounded by people who can be quite annoying.

    Maybe I just need to escape from reality.

    I'm currently waiting for a mod's reply to my message but Idk how long my patience will last.

    I guess I'll complete my midterms first then stress over the issue or maybe it's time to say goodbye from playing the game.

    Exercising helps, eating healthy and prevent any things that is harmful to yourself. Oh, get sufficient sleep as well. Good luck for your exams!

    The BEST thing that helps me is swimming. I go out to the pool and just start swimming laps. Without really stopping. I could go for 2 hour and not even notice that they passed. It relieves stress but also very useful for brainstorming. When I have a problem, I go in water with it in my head, start swimming, in a few minutes I get on autopilot and just start brainstorming. 99% of the time I come out of water with a solution.

    If swimming isn’t your thing, here are some other solutions:

    Healthy sleeping schedule
    Warp baths
    No screens 1 hour prior to sleep
    Tea
    Talking to your best friend

    We don't have a bathtub at home. I live in a third world country.

    Oh and sleep... that I may have problems with. I get around 5 hours sleep. Most of the notes the teachers gave are powerpoint presentations, so I will have to use my phone or laptop to study. I'm don't really drink tea nor coffee.

    I usually get something from the bakery and drink it with black tea just the tea me and the bakery product

    Do you add sugar to the tea since it's a major factor in drinking tea
