To clarify, I'm not an Australian citizen but I'm an Indonesian studying abroad.
Crushes really suck. They just somehow ruin your confidence and self esteem. It's just so random. I've had a friend who had a crush on this dude and she starts acting so down being afraid to mess up in front of him. It's like the boy controlled her without even knowing him. Also, there I had another friend who had this crush on a girl which made him happy whenever he's around her, but now he starts feeling sad about it now.
There's this story about a girl(who I sorta liked as a good friend). We started talking to each other and I was usually the one who had to contact her all the time(the fear just started getting to me). After a while, she started ignoring my messages even though it was clear that she was online. Then I became a bit more serious and asked her why's she's ignoring me all of sudden. Then a few days later, I had to "apologize" about it. What sucks is that I never got an apology back. And then I had to contact her again and we started talking again(Deep inside I was still hurt that she acted like she didn't know I apologized.)
For this caseon't be down in the dumps about some boy you like rejecting you. I know it hurts, but you'll start feeling better I guarantee.(at least he didn't make it as a joke or ignored you) It wasn't that severe imo. He had the right to say no. Maybe he has something going on with him, you'll never know. On a side note:You shouldn't be devoted into a relationship yet when you're still in school.
