Ohh, how sad. Do you have any gift ideas for a fellow growtopian? The one who'll give the gift doesn't play gt.

Give them an iTunes/Google play card to buy the gems, or just spend the gems in-game and buy a nice item for em

the easiest way is to have the recepient select the package, have them copy the link that opens in browser (it will redirect right away, so they have to be quick), then use your payment information on the page that opened - it will be as if they've done it themselves.

the feature to donate gems to other people hasn't been removed - just hidden. the link that's used to donate "gem package X" to "account Y" has both X and Y values clearly written in it (X is a very long string that's consistent if you buy the same package for different accounts, and Y is a number that's consistent if you buy different packages for the same account). knowing this you can generate links that lead to gem package purchases to any account, provided you know its Y.

the page that used to exist a few years ago just generated that link for you.

coincidentally, the Y value is the order in which growid had been registered: e g, first 20 registered players have number 0-19.
