If you like roguelikes, I highly recommend the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series, honestly some of the best games I've ever played. PMD2: Explorers of Sky is probably my personal favourite.

Have you tried Spelunky? IMO it's the single greatest roguelike.

Spelunky is definitely an awesome game!!! I haven't beaten it. Usually only play it in groups of 3-4 with some friends. c:

I've never played a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game before! I've played all the mainstream games, Conquest, Ranger, and a bunch of other spinoffs, but not Mystery Dungeon. From what I'm seeing online, people say it's a very simplistic roguelike and it doesn't get challenging until "late post game." Will definitely give it a bit more of a look once I get home tonight! I'm sure I can digitally download it on my 3DS.

I've played dozens of roguelikes in the past year. Some of the ones that stood out are A Robot Named Fight, Dead Cells, Darkest Dungeon, Wizard of Legend, and Rogue Legacy.

The only Roguelike in my current cycle of games is Dungeon Run in Hearthstone. It replaced Slay the Spire as both a deck builder + roguelike.

I like anime, board games, video games, and food! (and just about everything else that's fun, competitive, and inspiring)

Yeah, they're not particularly difficult games, but the story and soundtrack are where they really shine in my opinion.

I tried and refunded it when I got it on sale. It just wasn't that fun to me, the only roguelike I've ever played and enjoyed was Binding of Isaac. I couldn't really get into Gungeon, either.

I have a paid Nintendo DS emulator on my phone. Can I use that to play Earthbound? I looked it up but couldn't find any roms for it, because the only roms I saw were for Super Nintendo roms.

It's by the same people who made Amnesia, but it's less scary and there are way less chase sections. I seriously can't recommend it enough.
Thanks, I'll make sure to check it out (and play with friends)

    I got lots of it.

    OneShot
    Ori and the Blind Forest
Final Fantasy VII (The story itself is interesting in my opinion.)

Since I am having exams soon I cant tell you all yet.
    Sorry.
Thanks for the answers, please tell me the others when you have the chance, once again thanks, you're awesome

I've heard of OneShot, but initially disregarded it once I saw there was little replay value, even though there was an "Overwhelmingly Positive" score on Steam. I saw that this was suggested to me three times, so I'll make sure to try it out once I get the chance. The other two I have never even heard of before, but I think that's good since I'll have no idea what it'll be about.

Yume Nikki is an RPG that is incredibly abstract. It lacks the obnoxious fanbases the other two games listed have (to be honest, the community has been inventive and has created good fan-made renditions), but I think that is not the worst thing to omit. The gameplay is not something I should say much about…it is one of those games you would be better off going blind into to get the best experience.

I probably have tons more, but I have a class in five minutes. I might get back to you.
I'll make sure to check Yume Nikki out! Thanks for the suggestion!

They're hilarious & not overly long to beat, plus very inexpensive.
I won't really care what the genre of the game is, but preferably not roguelikes or open-world, although if there are some great games that include that, I'll be sure to check it out. Thanks for the suggestions!

Plus after your 1st playthrough, which is NG+ you can get the best ending if you made the correct choice after your 1st playthrough. Basically, it is a puzzle game with good story and surprises. Ah yes, good sountracks.

The Binding of Issac (all versions)
Terraria (vanilla then modded is amazing with calamity and thorium)
    Starbound (vanilla then modded)
Bioshock series (great thrillers and sci fi and fun FPS)
Ori and the Blind Forest (idk how to describe)

Red Dead Redemption 2 coming soon (if ur PC can run, def get it, its a masterpiece)
Resident Evil 4 and 7 (no need to play the others) (horror)
Assassin's Creed (Brotherhood, Revelations, 4 and Odyssey)
    Witcher 3 (good game)
    Skyrim (Play modded after vanilla)
    Fallout 4 (great solid game)
Batman Arkham Series (Only Origins is average, rest are amazing)
Metal Gear Solid 4-5 (1-3 on emulators)
The Amazing Spiderman 1 (The game)
    Superman 64 (jk)
If you can get emulators on your pc I'd recommend the following games

    1. NDS

    Harvest Moon DS
    Ace Attorney Trilogy

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Games are a must
    Sonic Rush 1 and 2
The Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass
The Legend of Zelda Spirit Tracks
    Chrono Trigger
Professor Layton's games (especially the Unwound Future, it is a must)
Mario and Luigi Bowser Inside Story

there are more but I can't really remember, these are the best games I know. I'll categorize the must plays below
    Terraria
    Hollow Knight
Red Dead Redemption 2 (not out yet on pc I think)
    Resident Evil 4/7
    Fallout 4
    Batman Arkham Series
    Metal Gear Solid V

    NDS
    Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Games
    Sonic Rush
Professor Layton and the Unwound Future (MUST MUST MUST)

Is MGSV worth playing if you've never played any other games in the series? I love the stealth genre but I don't want to slog through 4 other games full of 30-minute cutscenes.

    Superman 64

You should play MGS Peace Walker to play MGSV. Peace Walker is a great game and you'll enjoy it as much as MGSV. You need an emulator for it tho.

I heard that playing Ground Zeroes before Phantom Pain is generally enough if you don't want to/can't play the other games.
If you like stealth games, you could give Dishonored a try; one of my personal favourites.

Cool, I might just get the Definitive Edition, I think it comes with both games.

I’d still recommend playing Undertale even if you’ve watched it. It was still fun to play despite watching some content on it myself, and it’s a good time sink.

I’ve started Celeste and that’s pretty fun, If recommend checking it out

I did, I've just finished it yesterday lol. I heard there was a genocide and neutral route which seem intriguing.

Undertale is a really REALLY good game imo
