Dramas and Disagreements

Hey everyone,

I don’t really know how to start this thread off, I’ve been thinking of an opening for literally 10 minutes but still got no idea, so I’ll just dive right in.

Dramas
I’ve seen a ton of drama lately on the forums and in-game and it’s really getting in the way of many people’s lives and their emotions, so why don’t just not cause any drama?

If you don’t agree with another person’s opinions, why go out of your way to “correct” them or label them as something they’re not? Not everyone necessarily has to have the same points of view as you. Instead what we should all do is respect somebody else’s opinions and hear them out, before making VALID points.

Use of offensive words
Not something new, but people often uses profanities towards somebody else when they disagree or when they have a valid argument, and those carelessly thought-out words can lead into a huge drama, potentially a fight. Just stop, the forums is meant to be a friendly place and not somewhere for two parties to go on and on about a certain disagreement.

How to prevent this from happening?
Well, of course I’m not going to provide a rant/complain without providing a solution, so just hear me out on this one - One way that this could easily be avoided is to not speak harshly towards another person if they don’t agree with whatever you support/favor. Another is by showing basic respect and accept the fact that different people have different opinions and just keep quiet.

Now I know that this thread is probably going to attract haters but I feel that this is what needs to be said, and I don’t want drama on a platform meant to be enjoyable and helpful. You’re entitled to your opinions and I respect you, feel free to leave any feedbacks. Thank you everyone who took time out of your day to read this, I appreciate it!

I agree. We definitely need to respect each other more.

I think that almost all forumers (we) have mastered the art of respecting eachother.
Non-forumers need to improve though.

Bahahaha not all forumers master that art. My friend got his ass kicked when he come just to perform a great alliance. Not only non forumer. Just because they are not forumer, doesn't mean all of them dont know how to respect each other.

Respecting someone doesn't mean you have to approve of their actions. Fighting back doesn't make you any better than the attacker

The drama subforum should be brought back IMO. Update Discussions seems to be the de facto drama subforum anyways.

Exactly this. I feel like the amount of drama on the forums increased ever since the drama subforum was removed simply because there's no longer a specific place for it.
