    Default October Update Delay on Mobile & PC

    Hello Growtopians,

    We are, as eagerly as you, looking forward for the October update, adding the new and exciting IOTM as well as a new Subscriber's Item.

    Yesterday, we performed a recommended update to the game on Mobile and PC, which will become a forced update in the store for the October Update. We updated the rendering engine and unfortunately this created quite a lot of issues, and we are very thankful for all of your reports so far.

    While we are working on solutions for the most severe issues, like crashes, we decided to delay enforcing the game update for everyone as this would mean, that many more of you would be affected by these issues. This however means that we are unable to release the October Update today on Mobile and PC. We would like to ask for your understanding as your game experience takes more importance than releasing the update right now.

    If you are currently experiencing issues due to the recent update, please report them here on the forums or feel free to reach out to our Customer Support Team, as they will forward your reports as well. And if you are asking yourself now when the October Update will be available, we are planning it for Thursday 3rd of October currently, but please bear in mind that this could be delayed if the main issues aren’t resolved on time. This also means that the new IOTM will be available a few days extra to compensate for the delay!

    As the content for the October Update is different on Console, this version is not affected by the delay, which is why we are currently working on releasing the October Update for this version as planned.

    Default Update on Issues with Mobile

    Hello Growtopians,

    We would like to share an update on the October Update Delay for Mobile & PC as well as on the issues which were introduced with yesterday's recommended update. We can confirm that the most severe issues, crashing the game, are now resolved on Mobile, please download the latest version for Android as soon as you can.

    Currently, the investigation on issues affecting the PC version is still ongoing. As soon as they are also resolved and as soon we have more information on the release of the October Update, we will let you know.

    Default Update on Issues with PC - Update your Drivers!

    Hello Growtopians,

    As promised, we have an update on the issues that you encountered with the PC version after the recent recommended update. The major critical issues, like crashes, are caused by outdated Windows Graphic Card Drivers, predominantly integrated graphic cards are affected by this. In order to continue playing the game on PC, please make sure to keep your Windows graphic card drivers up to date.

    How to Update Windows 7 and 10 Graphics Card Drivers

    1. Log on to Windows using an account with administrative privileges.
    2. Click on the Windows Icon on the bottom-left corner of the screen and select Device Manager.
    3. Click the arrow next to Display Adapters and expand to see your graphics card.
    4. Click on your graphics card and then click Properties.
    5. Click on the Driver tab and then click on Update Driver.
    6. Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.
    7. Continue through the prompts to complete the installation process.
    8. Restart your computer after the new driver is installed if your computer doesn't restart automatically.

    More information on how to update Windows graphics card drivers can be found on the Microsoft Support Website.

    Default Update on Issues with PC - Update to Version 2.997!

    Hello Growtopians,

    If you are running the game on a PC with a NVIDIA RTX graphics card and still experiencing issues, please make sure to update the game to Version 2.997. We’ve included a fix to this version which should improve the compatibility.

    Default Update on the October Update on PC

    Hello Growtopians,

    We would like to give you an update on the situation on the delay for the October Update - we have decided to release the IOTM on Mobile & PC today. The Subscriber Item will be available starting tomorrow, October 4th. However, this means version 2.997 has become mandatory. Some of you may experience issues playing the game on PC and we would like to assure you that the team will be working extensively to solve this issue.

    In the meantime, if you have already tried to update your Integrated Windows graphics card drivers and are still experiencing the same issues, you can let us know by commenting the details on this thread. The more information we get from you all, the quicker we can address these issues.

    Also, there are thousands of graphic cards and unlimited system configurations, so, if the situation has not improved for you, it would definitely help us if you'll be more specific with the details of your PC graphics card and configuration, ideally your DxDiag.txt file. You can send it to me as "Copy&Paste" Private Message in the Forum or you can send them to our Customer Support Team.
