How exactly OLD is growtopia??

so i got bored of waiting for the new client so i surfed the forums for some super old threads from 10-15 years ago and i found this thread that mentions today's growtopia official website

so this thread well, yeah its literally 12 months older than me if you check down the last comment you can see the guy mentioned growtopia official website and how is this possible? is it possible that this guy predicted growtopia 8 years before its official release date?

Seth must've had the idea for Growtopia a long time ago. Given that the aforementioned post is more or less a remnant of the old RTSoft forums, it's likely that Seth had come up with the name or concept of Growtopia before he mentioned it to Mike in 2012. In that case, he might've mentioned it somewhere in a long lost place, which is what the person is probably referring to.

Or he's a time traveler.

Or there was an exploit that allowed for really old posts to be edited far after they were supposed to.

Or maybe there was no limit on how long you could edit a post as there are posts from 2005 that got replies literal years later. such as this thread, which was started in 2002 (before i was born) and got its final response in 2010, 8 years later.

There are also blank guest accounts, somehow.

I think guest accounts used to be fairly common, but then later changed to having to make an account in order to post. Don't quote me on this though, because I really have no idea.

yes, this forum is technically 18 years old, the original forum is actually at https://www.rtsoft.com/forums

like I said the thread was created on 2004 and he mentioned growtopia official website that was actually rtsoft.com before this forum was moved to growtopiagame.com/forums so all rtsoft.com is altered to read as growtopiagame.com just like bluedwarf said (well i actually got confused at first but ok)
