Scammers are now using cash registers to pretend like someone bought something from a vend machine (It makes the same sound when u punch a cash register)

How does this help the scammer?

Well when someone hears something got bought they think it's a good deal so the buy it also.

I recommend playing with sound on, but turned down very low so you can still hear it but it won't kill your eardrums.
