Default New IOTM Suggestion: Wizard's Tome of Combiations / Encyclopedia of Growtopia

Wizard's Tome of Combinations or Encyclopedia of Growtopia

It would be a permanent, wrenchable block that you can place in a world-locked world of yours.

The Wizard's Tome would register every recipe or combination you splice or combine, and also gathers information from blocks/items you have in your backpack.

In addition, it would also register recipes upon using SoG (Secret of Growtopia), in case it reveals on how to make a new item.

The block would have a similar interface to the Growscan 9000, which provides a search functionality, or browse blocks/item function by category.

It would be a nice Encyclopedia of Growtopia (EoG) that assists players to splice/make items more easily, while keep playing, instead of googling on how to make stuff.

Great idea! But i think it shouldn’t be an IOTM maybe it’s an item you can buy from Locke or a perma item in the gem store.

If this item exists, finding new recipes will no longer be profitable, giving the recipe finders a hard time. Bad idea.

It wouldn't be global, but your own record of splicing and your personal reference, building over time... there can be new quests and achievements tied to that log as well.

Profits would not be affected at all.

And I agree, it shouldn't be an IOTM, but rather a standard item acquired after the tutorial, or gifted to everyone who passed it already, as well as old players.

It could also give Growtopia a bit of a story line, if we stay with the Wizard's Tome of Combinations...

The Wiz could be somewhat of a narrator for the tutorial, providing your personal Tome in the end as a tool to succeed in Growtopia.

He could be giving the words on the way that once you're skilled enough, you can summon me, and embark on a legendary quest of your choice.

Think of it as a GrowDex, if you will... borrowed from the little pocket monster games, which are still super successful to this date.
The mechanic alone surely would make people dive in more deeply into the game, and a bit less of a "Factorio" to improve your production lines for maximum throughput and profits all the time. It's a game, with lots of areas to explore, not a second work place

And keep in mind it's optional to use, so you can still do whatever you prefer in GT.
