200 Pepper Trees = 9,400 Corrupted Souls

= 51,600 Corrupted Souls.

More than enough, since you only need 48,000 Corrupted Souls.

where do we actually sacrifice it? do we have to exit the world after touching a well, go to growganoth, sacrifice say, 200 peppers, go back etc?

At the Sacrificial Wells:

Your Corrupted Soul per trial resets once your timer runs out (you have 20 minutes). You can exit the world and return, but that is time-consuming. It is better to just have 5-6 stacks of rarity 40+ items to sacrifice.

200 fishtanks (1well)
200 chandeliers(2 wells)
200 purple stuff(1 well)
200 hanging guy traps(1well)
200 pepper trees (1well)
total = 6 wells
This should be enough for one world yes?
U could do that way, but im just doing pepper(lower price) for those 6 wells, when i found well i just sacrifice them & go back to my farm to collect more pepper & search for the well and do it again until done, the points(souls) didn't reset even if ur ticket used/time's up, it only reset when u punch the altar's. Im do this more than 20x so... Sorry bar grammar

5. Would I get 8,000 points only even if I drop 200x Chandelier.

Even if you try to sacrifice all 200, it will only use 92 Chandeliers for sacrifice as that equates to 8,004 Corrupted Souls (up to the limit).

so im supposed to click the farmable on the well, not drop on the well?
thats explains a lot why i cant earn any corrupted souls.

Also there are 6 Wells per world not 5
The Corrupted Souls do not (or should not) reset. They are kept so you can accumulate them over several attempts at the Tomb of Growganoth.

that's some comfort.. I could not find the altar on my first run... will try again tonight

and the parkour is not really that hard.. just some parts can be confusing coz I could not tell at first what blocks kill or burn or are harmless xD.... some foreground that look like spikes actually dun kill...

So you can obtain 48,000 Corrupted Souls with multiple Dark Tickets? Let's say my timer ran out and I had a score of 24,000 Corrupted Souls, I could then use another Dark Ticket to get the remaining 24,000 Corrupted Souls for the Altar as long as I did not punch the altar in the first trial? Does this mean you can also gain beyond 48,000 Corrupted Souls as the first trial you can empty out 3 Corrupted Wells (24,000 Corrupted Points), but then in your second trial with your second Dark Ticket, all 6 Corrupted Wells will be full because you entered a new world?

11. Is the prize pool limited to what the display blocks show? And if that's the case, does that mean the rest of the new items would come from the Maw?

That's correct. You will keep your Corrupted Souls and you can go above 48,000. Consuming a new Dark Ticket the Sacrificial Wells will be full again with 8,000 Corrupted Souls for you to get.

The items in the Display Blocks inside the Tomb of Growganoth are the rewards you can get from using your Corrupted Souls at the Corruption Altar.

The items that are unlocked by the community reaching the Corrupted Soul milestones, are the other new items that are unlocked from the MAW (original Growganoth world) - these items unfortunately are not displayed in any Display Blocks, something to do for next years event!
