WORLD: RESTLESSDEAD

A Short Description of the world/ story.

on this faithful day, the telephone rang, usually it would have been the other way round. When you picked up the call, to your surprise it is Crazy Jim calling you. He mentions that he has a quest for you and that he will be wiring a Treasure map to you, through the phone, of course, like always! You feel a bit suspicious about Crazy Jim calling you but you decide to ignore the feeling. In return for the treasure map, all that he asks of you is to bring him a "Torn and tattered diary beyond the cave". With you being all excited about the quest, you decide to end the call early before Crazy Jim could give his last sentence of warning. All you heard was "Beware of the skele.. ton..." Rushing off, you ignore the foreboding feeling of dread, I'm sure that Crazy Jim's warning is not that important, right?

Mainly all of my inspiration came from the Czech 'Church of Bones' when I visited the place in Czechia, Kutna Hora (Sedlec Ossuary), stacks of bones covered everything, from parts of the floor to the ceiling and even the decorations. All pixel arts are created with reference to the human skull.

Appreciate it alot, it is pretty much original but with reference to the growtopia item: pillar of the dead.

Also I assure you, though the story may be somewhat lacking in substance or not scary enough, the parkour is certainly fun to play (not the kind of "difficult" fun but the enjoyable kind with cool mechanics.

I believe parkour are meant to be completed, some wotds are just too difficult to complete within a short time which may cause people to lose interest halfway and just drop out.

Ok, just finished.

The world was great! The render looks great, and it doesn't look bad in game either! Definitely worth a WOTD. Though there were a couple things that I noticed:



Two empty signs


Also towards the end there wasn't much of a story. It started to feel like a regular parkour map.

Alright! It's all fixed, I've done a couple reruns to check for problems and it seems to be all set to go!

I've noticed the trend where wotds have password doors as it's a "new" mechanic but it's too overrated and common now so I didn't put it in my world.
