    Exclamation Change Foum layout

Problem: This forum is outdated and is hard to use when on mobile.

Solution: Rewrite the forum using Invision Power Board.

    Invision Power Board site: https://invisioncommunity.com/

    Great example: https://gbatemp.net/

I hope this is seen and everyone understands why I want this. We could have a dark theme, easy commenting/liking/replying, and status updates. This can lead to forum that looks better and preforms better overall.

To be honest, I like the forums how it is both on desktop and phone. There is no need to rewrite or use any forum software to make a new forums for this game. In terms of a dark theme, I would love this.

I've edited the white background and switched it to black using inspect element. Instead of using the sunny background, they could use the night background.

vBulletin is perfectly fine. It's the theme that sucks.

Also do you have any idea how much effort a complete rewrite to a new forum software would take? I doubt it'd even be possible without erasing/archiving all existing data (posts, accounts, etc).

I definitely wouldn't mind a minor theme change. I like vBulletin though.

They definitely need to work on mobile responsiveness. Most of the website visitors come from mobile sites.

A quick search reveals that our current forum also supports that plugin, which needs to be installed in order to use this forum in the app.

Simple, make an app for GT forums.
Someone might be able to pull this off and contact ubidooby (ye thats what I call "them") so that the dev can sell/ give the source code to them.

...or, use the plugin above to integrate it into an already existing popular service.

Who cares how it looks on mobile? PC is always going to be the superior platform for forums regardless of how mobile looks. Faster typing, multiple tabs, more text on bigger screen, etc.
Personally, I'm pretty sick of the garbage mobile designs that most websites seem to adopt these days because it's "modern".

    Well, not really.
While you may be right that computers are the best for browsing and surfing the web, the dominance of smartphones over computers is slowly increasing due to the accessibility of mobile devices compared to PCs.
Due to that, most big companies have adopted something called mobile responsiveness. Imagine being served desktop website on a screen that's 10 times smaller than a PC. Imagine all the wasted time zooming in trying to get things done.
And if it wasn't that important, Google wouldn't have added mobile responsiveness as a factor for organic search ranking in 2015.
We need to admit that mobile devices are getting better and better everyday, and that getting on the web on your smartphone is way faster than waiting for your computer to boot up so you can surf the web.

Last but not least, I recommend you read this interesting article
    https://freshsparks.com/why-responsi...-is-important/

Regarding multiple tabs, modern browsers can do this pretty easily on mobiles too. Look, it all comes down to the designer's capabilities. If he's smart and wise, he'll create a stunning theme, but if he just wants to get paid and doesn't have any passion, he'll create something ugly.

not everyone has or can afford a pc. although I prefer gaming on pc (and switch), not everyone can just whip out a laptop or desktop and play on it. not to mention, some people (like me) are constantly on the move and don’t have the capability to move setups.

in addition, sites can vary between desktop mode and mobile mode.

"personal info (SSID, Debit card, real name, etc) here."
    Steam, if you want.
