Question Can i compose any song without knowing how to play a piano?

I meant like modifying the real actual notes from rl into gt and not copying from other worlds..
If it was possible then what will be the least requirements to do it?
Apologize for these grammer mistake made by Frainglad to be back on forum tbh..

Probably not, and you'll need to learn some music theory.

Music theory for sure. Coming from a musician who's played saxophone for the past 7 years, its not the easiest to compose. It would take a decent amount of time. Good luck though!

i tried my best to make it as simple as i could , firstly you can start by searching the piano synthesia of the song you wish to make on youtube (ex : flower dance piano synthesia). it helps by showing you the tiles being played as well as the notes and their letters. each note on those letters will sound the exact same on growtopia if you stand in the correct line (there are 14 lines in growtopia (B,A,G,F,E,D,C,B,A,G,F,E,D,C) wrench yourself to know which one you're standing on.

the first pic is the synthesia, on top are the tiles being played, on the bottom are the notes, i have put colored dots on each note to show which type of note you should use on growtopia to represent it.
all the black tiles are flat notes except two of them which ive marked with a yellow dot (those are sharps). all the white tiles are normal piano notes (ive marked them with green dots)

now all you have to do is stop the video whenever the tiles hit the note, and copy them into growtopia by following the bottom pic, its easy as long as you know in which line you're standing on.

if you need help understanding something unclear feel free to ask, and sorry if this wasn't the answer you're looking for, i can't help in composing your own songs.

I never learned music theory and I transcribed a lot of Touhou music in TRANSCRIBE, you should probably give them a listen

Most difficult part for me is limiting yourself to two octaves in a song.

YES YES this is a huge and annoying issue, they don't even try to add an option to music sheets that allow playing a higher or lower octave

You definitely can't compose if you don't even know the difference between composing and transcribing.

These are pretty much the best, most straightforward explanations:

Transcribing is basically arranging a piece that is NOT made up by the transcriber. Just a note :sweat drop:. It's one of my pet peeves when people mixes those two terms up.

Big pet peeve here, whenever someone asks to help them "compose" a song.
