    I don't understand whether you're with or against this token system, because it's easy to get tokens with a low amount of wls now, but impossible in the past if you hadn't a famous world.

    Unknown people had to sb/bc alot which couldn't be done with 5wls, but If YOU bc and have 4 legendary players around it's normal that you'll get 6 tokens easily.

    While the developers have been initiating artificial appreciation for worlds, the worlds they elevate do nothing for building. The rating and classification systems for worlds make even less sense now, as, according to that system, Growtopia’s finest art worlds are farms. All “random worlds” on the main screen are farms or casino links. Irrefutably, world creation is not remotely promoted. Hell, people rarely even leave their farms given they are not using a macro to stay there. Even as exploitable as it was, the old token system at least appreciated genuine creativity.

    This is not a refute! I am simply explaining why something needs to be done to elevate this aspect of the game, because leaving it alone is making it irrelevant

    I actually think it is a big aspect. Growtopia is a social game where players dictate prices. Before people used to make many fun worlds and broadcast about it because they wanted grow tokens. After it was taken away, what happened.. is that fun worlds are deserted. Only once a month for comet or on easter people might make fun worlds. But then they would go back to trade worlds or bfgs. And the bad thing is they added the royal lock so people cannot even talk to each other anymore when trading like...???

    So basically I know that grow token for worlds is bad because rich get richer but I think Ubisoft should add some incentive to build fun worlds, because after all.. growtopia is about socialising, talking, making fun and interesting worlds, having fun, making friends. Not just scamming, or doing solo farming, solo quests. What happened to the team work, cooperation? What happened to asking someone to punch you so you can get through a pinball parkour, or just making funny worlds to explore with stories.

    This is very crucial problem that we are decreasing in numbers, I am still recruiting my friends to play but only 4 of us played and many quited which is sad. I want to bring back growtopia again. If only I could have the power to make growtopia popular.

    The OP makes no assertion that there is a causal relationship between the two trends, but rather the correlation makes it possible that there could be a cause. In any case, it is enough to consider two related trends as having a somewhat causal relationship when it is proven a correlation exists; therefore, the basis of the thread and subsequent discussions are entirely pertinent and valid. Is it likely anyone outside of the participants in the discussion (i.e. Ubisoft) consider a change? No. But it is good to dream!

    Literally what I was about to say. This doesn't show a correlation between the growtoken system with popularity. It shows activeness by months and years.

    New system
    daily quest cheap days 1-3wls
    with role quest 1-3wls most of the time which eh was okay. 2gtoken

    old system. Walk a maze for 1hour, reach end notices it is impossible and the prize is fake oh no waste my time
    Play a mini game with fake prizes. Mod all the prizes are for display only do not ban.
    (check the door id mod it is real) btw mod don’t check and new players fall for them

    reach top 100 in any of the rated and get token
    but wasn’t it like get honors and you’ll get token
    the rating system was implemented later but remove due to dirt worlds

    Lets not forget that they implemented the fossil update to balance the world popularity earnt tokens, popular worlds get a ton of fossils daily which can benefit the owners, but some people will never ever be happy and they will always stay nostalgic and they are not able to go foward, we are in 2020 and some people still want a token system that was removed years ago.

    The Growtoken System should be updated to include daily rating. Based on your ratings you get growtokens in the past BUT each person will only be allowed one vote per day and must be level 25+. Also if we implemented this back you could every 25 levels allow the payer to make +1 rating that they can do a day. This way it would encourage players to start leveling up again for something other than a title. Alsooooooooo.... We could nerf the tokens that you would be receiving by setting the max tokens to 5/day instead of the old 10/day.
