    Default How do i report getting hacked?

    I recently logged on to my account after many months (or possibly over a year) and I got a nasty surprise of my world being owned by someone else. I won't specify what I've lost, but it's a lot of stuff. I just need help on reporting this hacking incident; I don't really know how since I haven't played this game in a while. Does emailing support still work?

    I too have been hacked, but it's not so bad to get a fresh start y'know?

    If you have AAP enabled, you get items back, if not AAP then lost everything. So now days we can actually choose do we want get helps if we get hacked or not. If you choose not to enable AAP then you took option: no item refunds for me pls.

    So, everyone!!! Make sure you enable AAP! Today!!!

    You have in your exit menu text "Secure my account" if you haven't enabled AAP. It is advanced account protection. If you don't have that option in menu, then you are secured already. After you press that option, you need go in your mail and open confirmation link. Then it's done. So it is fast and easy, if you have access in your gt mail. If not, then make new account, transfer all items in new acc and secure it.

    Do u ever wonder what are the entire Growtopia team doing right now? I feel like the team’s more focused on new updates and new items but doesn’t prioritize their player’s safety and account security first before that.

    dont they have a specific staff specialized solely on technical issues/player's problems/hacks,ect..?
    id say its probably because of how many tickets there are everyday, (there must be tons) but some people havent got their case updated for months

    They should have some sort of sorting/clearing system, like based on the amount of words written in the ticket and also the reply speed of the person who submitted the ticket gets prioritized first. Although I feel like the reply speed thing will get abused by people who constantly reply, but there should be an anti-spam reply for that kind of thing.

    I haven't seen oof. I have only seen how hacked ppls friends tells everywhere how their friend got hacked and surely used AAP and when go ask from person who actually got hacked, they say, no AAP, cause don't know my mail, or some even think that it is too hard to enable and some say, that they don't want use 2 step, cause it's complicated. Someone should make tutorial, how to enable AAP. I sadly have max account made and all acc has already AAP so i can't at least easily make tutorial.

    Is it illegal, if i create one acc with parallel or something? And then i could rec tutorial? Or should i do it in someone else's pc and

    The support e-mail address is long dead. Try referring to this link to send reports: https://support.ubi.com/en-GB/

    And also, from my experience with the support, I suggest registering your support account with the e-mail you used to register your GrowID, 'cause they won't help you if you fail to do so. Someone also mentioned Advanced Account Protection, but judging from you asking if support e-mail still works, I don't think you have it on (just to be sure though, check by pressing the menu button and checking for the option "Secure My Acoount"), so for now, hope for the best that the damage done isn't too much to the point the staff can't restore it reliably and fairly.
