Thread: WordPress in 2020?

    Default WordPress in 2020?

I’m wondering if it’s worth it to build a wordpress website in 2019 for my business (design/photography). The other option I’ve been looking into is Jekyll, but it seems like Wordpress will allow to manage my own website easier.

I have a good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JS, but I’ve never spent the time to learn Wordpress.

Has anyone here created a website using WordPress?

It really depends on your business model, your resources and level of ability when it comes to website management / setup. But I know that a lot of the fortune companies have their websites powered by wordpress. There are many wordpress product filter and plugins available for e-commerce. Woocommerce is a great choice and is highly customizable.
