Thread: Biggest Problems with Growtopia.

    Angry Biggest Problems with Growtopia.

    These are currently the biggest problems in Growtopia.

    1. Magplant issue.
    Because of magplants:

    - More autofarmers exist.
    Autofarmers cause millions of gems to be farmed everyday. You may think this isn't a big issue and that's because you haven't seen it from first hand. I know a group of 40 people (no exaggeration, the amount of autofarmers in this group is absurd) who collectively farm 10 million gems DAILY. And that's only one of the many anonymous groups in BUYGEMS. And why work in groups you may ask? These people sell their DLs for IRL currency, working in a group helps find customers easily.

    - World locks inflation.
    Inflation means prices of items increase (such as pwings and magplants themselves increasing in price) and the price of the currency being used decrease; for example, "rarity" and value of world locks decreased, gems price before: 1000/wl, currently: 1600/wl and decreasing further. GEMS are getting cheaper, anything from or related to the Gemshop are getting extremely cheap. Surg packs cost 12k gems to be sold for 6.5wl, 1846gems/wl. Farmables have been affected the most.

    - Server lag from running large scale bfg worlds.
    Multiple players placing, breaking and item drops dropping non stop simultaneously undoubtedly causes lag.

    Solution (for developers): Only people with access can take remote OR only owner can take remote. (Currently anyone can take the remote)

    I've read Jisam's thread (https://www.growtopiagame.com/forums...-(please-read)) and do not agree. IOTMs should not come back. Their features should be adjusted instead.

    I have no problem with Rayman Fist at the moment.

    Top rated worlds are filled with parkour scams such as "buy banana from vend to feed gorilla to reach the wls". See this thread: (https://www.growtopiagame.com/forums...orlds-parkours)

    Solution (for moderators): Stick with your promise, make a weekly purge routine to ban these worlds.

    3. Buy+ worlds.
    No, this isn't about dark cave wallpaper buy+ worlds, the addition of billboard solved that. Buy+ worlds that force you to buy utility items to reach the trading zone, such as forcing you to buy asbestos boots to pass lava. See the world BUYSSP for example. Yes you only need to buy these utility items once, but needing to constantly reequip them or search through a thousand items in your storage world to find a pair of climbing boots just to enter a world is a pain.

    Solution (for moderators): Ban these worlds. An exception can be made to worlds with ripper wing vends only.

    4. Fossils links.
    Worlds that force you to travel through "fossil links" ruin player experience. Examples of fossil links are long passageways through multiple worlds, most of the time includes water to slow you down further to essentially "spawn" fossils in rocks so the world owner can profit. The most clear example is the world 83MJ.

    Solution (for moderators): Ban worlds built only to generate fossils. Maybe make an announcement before banning since there's a ton of worlds with fossil links.

    5. Golden dragon statue.
    This is last on the list because it doesn't affect as many players. A pet battle tournament happens once a month and lasts 5 days. 1st place prize is a Golden dragon statue which costs around 800-1200DLs. With a prize that big, there's an increasing amount of participants who cheat by versing their alts/friends that intentionally lose to make the themselves gain points easily (known as tournament boosting), which also makes it increasingly harder for legitimate players to win. The other issue is despite the already crazy price already, Golden dragon statue's price is still increasing.

    Solution (for developers): I completely agree with Jisam's solution to allow any dragon statue to be used in Legendary Dragon Knight quest (step 16).

    The magplant thing will kill bfgs tho.......

    which will make new players experience even more of a trainwreck since they will be at even more of a disadvantage.

    there's another big solution, not to be rude but all I see is you trying to complain about the game and IOTM such as Magplant and Rayman, So please stop it. You should understand if they add IOTM it would 99% ruin the economy and if they add items that have the same effect but less it will destroy the price of the items and still destroy the economy. + think how would you feel if you had Magplant and Rayman and suddenly all drops. You think for your self here and you want those items to drop so you can buy it, that's not how it works. Please next time think before starting a thread like that and quit being selfish + think about this dying game more Ok? NOW top priority is that they fix all the bugs in the game and take down those Casino and rule-breakers not focusing and item because of you said it.

    No I definitely not agree with you. There could also be some precautions can be taken to stabilize the prices. Not like a fool suggestion of adding then back to store, using them as official contest prizes and trying to add some of them more to the game but not on a public way every player can reach it out. Think a contest that growtopia arranges, 3 rayman fist for top 3 and other stuff for the other people. More items added to the game day by day, not suddenly, it won't effect the economy at all.

    Also, dragon statues are around 20+ bgls and currently the MOST expensive item in game. My suggestion on this is decrasing the day duration of the tournament to 3 days and doing that twice a month instead of once and a week long.

    Dude you aren't understanding me. You really think the current price of rayman is THE PRICE it came there by itself? I also own mags but I'm not selfish on that way to suggest ways for stabilizing the price.

    1. Removing the ability of Magplants is a solution for you, not for players. People bought it because it has that ability. By removing its ability; you clearly scamming players.

    2. Yes, I agree. It is a big problem.

    3. You can't say anything since it is their OWN world and owners not forcing you to trade there or buy his items there. There are always alternatives.

    There's a seller for 22 bgls in BUYGHC, it was today.
    ok let's say that.

    1st of all many players used money on the game when the IOTM came and they bought the items because it said only can get that item in that time and you can't obtain it ever again, other than purchasing from others and also + they can't add an item with same effect it will still ruin everything. well yes Rayman price is littlebit overpriced but you know why ? because of autofarmers buying them and then they end up getting banned, just like that the raymans become more and more Rare so ofc it's going to rise.
    but Magplant have the right price because they are one of the most helpful items in the game and many selling gems via this item + planting tree and farming is soo much easier so I don't think reason why it should drop. So yeah you understand me now ? admin those items monthly just makes no since and it will effect the economy. I'm sure of that.

    If you read the third point about the magplant issue, bfgs cause server lag. The intention is to stop bfgs.

    You forgot that new players have no knowledge of what a bfg is or where to find one. If you meant "poor" players, then yes, the fastest method to get wls for a poor player will be gone (bfgs). The positives of this are slowing inflation (second point) hence poor players will value world locks more.

    I believe it's more fun discovering different ways to profit anyway. If you can't relate, it's because you haven't tried.
