    Default Solution for the Growtopia economy ?

    Hey.

    My first post in the forums is a suggestion on how to salvage the remains of the growtopian economy. I have read a lot of posts pointing out that this is solely the Rayman and Magplants fault. These are IOTM and that are working as described upon purchase. My suggestion therefore is neither to remove or add more of these items. It is this:

    - Reduce gemdrop on farmables rarity 41+ to 1 or 0 gems on both harvesting and breaking.
    - Compensate by adding a little more gems on all non farmables on both harvest and breaking.

    Effect/pros:
    - Reducing the total amount of gems/wls ingame, slowly getting the economy back on track.
    - More players will begin to focus on other things than just farming/breaking.
    - Future updates will be more fun. The latest Spelunkupdate was fun for about 48 hours, then all aspects where revealed and “all” items where on sale. This because so many players buy/pay their way thru new updates. Reducing gems/wls will reduce this also.
    - This will also make more players buy gems in store. This again will give Ubisoft an incentive to keep Growtopua alive. Maybe even invest in a server upgrade?

    Farmables will still have their attributes in gaining xp, harvest week, guild events, Chinese New Year and so forth.

    Those of you thinking: Wouldn’t this reduce the value of farmables by a lot? They are already at an all time low and sinking. Inn the long run this will keep prices more stabilized.

    I guess you will let me know your thoughts..

    Yes this would totally plummet the price of farmables but the greater problem is the price of the items that aren’t being farmed.
    if you don’t realize, Growtopia building is mostly about splicing. More than the farmables, all new* items that is going to be released will be hell a lot of expensive because no one is farming.
    Building will become also expensive.
    In relation to that SSP and RSP demand will just skyrocket. Happy vend shops

    *and even old ones will go up after sometime

    This should be implemented, if I remember correctly newly created account when posting sometimes* requires moderator permission/approval. It would be great to add the keyword MagPlant and rayman there.

    * I don’t know when and how those happen but it does exist

    AFAIK. Farmable is not necessarily Gems-able. Gems drop are based on rarity. The thing that makes it different from farmable and non-farmable is the drop chance (not amount of gems, but chance to drop this: gems, seed, block)

    Ikr, this is probably the best idea i have ever read on the forums, clearly there won’t be any riot if they implemented it, infact, everyone will praise ubisoft for their godly decision making and everyone gonna love farming or maybe farming will be the most profitable activity in the game!
