Default Should I stick with Autoclaving or Farming?

These past 2 days, I've been into autoclaving tools to get stitches. My investment was 60+ wls but now I have already 400+ stitches (2DLS+). Is it a good profit considering I spent 2-5 hrs per day on autoclaving, buying tools and selling stitches?
Or should I buy Lgrids now? (I sold my Lgrids back then and switched to root farming but the bountiful items has drastically dropped in price so I lost WLS instead)

I am kinda bad at explaining but you buy cheap tools and autoclave all of them to get stitches, you'll get all tools but you must autoclave all of them also except for stitches.

imo, since i dont know much about roots, i’d recommend farming something around 26-40 rarity and hiring someone with farmer role lv5 or more to harvest for you, so you can get carrot blocks (i do, but i charge for harvesting).

also, carrot blocks are around 15-18wls, and you can get anywhere from 0-3 per farm.
some farmables in that rarity range are steel, steam tubes, sugarcane, and ice.

You autoclave every tool you get except for stitches? Even the ones like sponge, scalpel, anti?

If you buy any specific tool for 20+/WL, then you can profit since for every WL you spend, you're guaranteed with 1 stitch and 11 other tools. But if you buy for 18-19/WL, you won't.
