Post An anti private server movement?

Private servers promote casinos to new players, and does a lot of bad, maybe if we make enough noise, ubisoft will finally do something, like copyclaim the files etc.

Ubisoft actually has done something already but the owners of those private servers have put themselves on risk of being arrested. With the first line you said, it would be very impossible for new players to discover private servers easily since they are new. What do they know? But yes, I believe Ubisoft is taking actions to eliminate these private servers that stole the source codes from them.

How about encrypting the files so it will be it like private servers cannot read the files since GT runs at .rttex file extension how about changing it to something unique and only ubisoft can use with a different and unique algorithm.

They bought the game from RTsoft which was the one created the RTTEX extension for image format. Changing it mean more money being put in the development equivalent of creating a new game.
Also just incase you didn't know, RTTEX is a free and open source component based C++ framework

They would have to re-write the entire game. The game was bought from former owners Seth Robinson and Mike Hommel with the game being developed under a game engine called Proton SDK. So you cannot really switch from one code to another easily, it would take them time and money to re-write the game under a new code. Their developers working on Growtopia are already used to using on what they are already using today. Shifting to a new one would take them time to get used to it.

Well, many players come playing GT, and see a lot of rich players, and they want to be rich as well, so they search GT mod, GT hacked etc. This is very common for kids in age from 9-11.

I believe this is not the case. It takes months for them to understand the concept of Growtopia and they should be aware that those kinds of stuff are illegitimate.

They already taken an action at some private server, one of them are open source (c++) it was DMCA'ed by Ubisoft's CEO afaik. Ubisoft are serious about this, they're a big company it shouldn't take a lot of time to completely removes gtps source codes out there

Just like casinos, they'll come back, probably in a new website or they'll make a discord server. Moderators can nuke, and ban the casino hosters, but not stop them.
